West-Log, Zurich

The West-Log logistics center in the industrial area near Altstetten train station is both a concise and restrained building that fits perfectly into the urban environment. The property with around 18’000 m² of total usable space was designed for industrial use and as the representative company headquarters of EM Elektro-Material AG, the leading wholesale company in the Swiss electrical installation industry. It takes up most of the building and includes a parts warehouse and a picking warehouse, offices, showrooms and a shop. Thanks to the EM Light Competence Center, EM had the lighting planners in-house in order to put the modern offices in the limelight with a flexible and contemporary lighting concept and to create the best lighting conditions for the employees.
