Dual Duct Mixing Unit

Mixing units are used for regulation independent of supply pressure and for CAV and VAV systems. The independent measurement and regulation of volumetric flow rates for cooling and heating air ensures precise supply air regulation in addition to the precise control of volumetric flow rates.


Characteristic features of mixing units:

  • No mixing loss due to separate cooling and warning air regulation
  • Independent of supply pressure
  • Very low inherent resistance
  • Compact design
  • Precise volumetric flow measurement insensitive to supply pressure due to 12-point calliper in cooling and heating air connections
  • Mixing efficiency more than 95 %, i.e. at a temperature difference of 20 K between heating and cooling air, the temperature at the outlet varies by 1 K

Casing made of galvanised sheet steel with thermal and acoustic insulation. Double layer damper leaves with SBR seals mounted in low-friction bearings. Air volume set at factory.
