Versions

The sound attenuators are available in two different versions depending on normal space: Model A: Lp < 35 dB(A); Model B: Lp < 40 dB(A).

Lengths

Sound attenuator Type A: L = 1500 mm, Sound attenuator Type B: L = 1000 mm.

Variant -E

The connecting nozzle diameter is identical at both ends of the sound attenuator.

Variant -K

At one end is a reduction cone to the next smaller nominal width for direct connection to the volumetric flow control unit.

Materials

The standard design is based on galvanised sheet steel. A version made of PPS plastic in variants -E and -K is available to meet higher quality requirements. Designation: S41-E-PPS and S41-K-PPS.

Design made of galvanised steel

Round casing made of galvanised steel sheet. The air-tight casing tube has a sheet thickness of 1 mm and a packing density of 50 mm. A packing density of 25 mm is also available on request.
