Pressure Reduction Box

Designed for applications in ventilation systems to regulate volumetric air flows, independent of supply pressure, precise and with very good control characteristic. Types: V51 without reheater, V52 with integrated PWW reheater.

Galvanised steel version (V51 without reheater, V52 with integrated reheater)

Round connecting nozzle with square pressure reduction box (acts as sound attenuator). Casing made of galvanised sheet steel in double walled design with thermal and acoustic insulation. A 4-spoke calliper with 12 measuring points ensures a measurement accuracy of ±5 %. The Barcol-Air damper leaf (double layer with SBR seal in-between) is mounted in low-friction nylon bearings. Shaft material: aluminium. The reheater battery has copper pipe connections (for solder or plug-on connection), each fitted with a drain or vent valve.

Damper drive and controller are fully assembled, piped and wired. Air volumes are preset. When used as a return air unit, air flows through the unit in the opposite direction.
