Barcol-Air has developed a simple process for combining its radiant metal ceilings with Archisonic by Impact Acoustic® felt baffles, made from recycled PET. In addition to the added visual effectiveness, the combination solution is also convincing from an acoustic point of view. Because while the strength of the radiant ceilings made of metal lies within the low frequencies, the felt baffles are able to absorb sound primarily in the high-frequency range.

The European standard EN 14240 defines test conditions and processes to determine the cooling capacity of radiant ceilings or other large cooling surfaces.
